Sens Jersey Number Quiz
If you have any shred of patience, try my the quiz I created. The object is to guess which Sens player was the last, or current, to wear that number. The season it was last worn is on the column on the right. It's not as easy as it sounds and you only have 10 minutes. And spelling counts!!!
Good Luck!!
Last Ottawa Senator to wear this number

Gaze into my Crystal Ball!!!
Here I am trying to predict what the line up for the Sens will look like in 2019-20. I took a bit of flack for not putting Filip Chlapik on the team, but I think he may need more seasoning in Belleville. I don't know what's scarier, Karlsson being a UFA, or the fact I'll be turning 40 that year!

This Week's #throwbackthursday
This is my Sens jersey that I got signed by the 2002-03 Ottawa Senators, back when it was easy to get autographs. Sorry for the crappy photo, as the phone on my camera sucks.
Funny story: When I was getting Karel Rachunek (RIP) to sign my jersey after a practice, the Maple Leafs team bus was pulling away from the arena, and Karel was blocking the exit. There were about 10 of us lining up for signatures and he was pretty much signing everything we were putting in front of him. Meanwhile, the bus was waiting to leave so the Leafs could go back the hotel. The bus honked at Karel a couple of times, and he just honked back and continued signing for everybody.

16-17 Sens Roster Ratings, NHL94 Style
What would the rating system for the 16-17 Ottawa Senators look like in NHL 94? Probably something like this (keep in mind that the rating systems were much different back then and don't include playoff performances):
If you don't agree with my ratings, feel free to send me hate mail lol! Let's compare it to the 92-93 Sens, which was the actual roster on the game:
Now that team could've made the Conference Final, don't ya think?

Red Wings
It was my day off, so I thought "What Better way to spend an afternoon than to drive two hours to hound a last place and crappy signing teams?" At least the guys I got I had never met in person before, one of which was a Hall of Famer (Cheli has mellowed since his playing days). Overall, 9 stinking signatures! I missed Franz Nielsen and Riley Sheahan ignored me.

This Day in Sens History (4 days late)
March 8, 1999
Damian Rhodes lets in 2 goals on the first 2 shots, but Sens storm back in a big way and beat the Lightning 9-3. Magnus Arvedson records a hat trick, and Vincent Lecavalier & Marian Hossa scrap.
