Upper Deck Series 2 Box Comparison

I have to say that both boxes were pretty damn good.  But which one was more damn good than the other?  Without further ado, let's find out!

Edge:  Even.  I got the same freaking cards in both boxes.  Can't complain about the two Jack Hughes.

Edge: Even.  I never get anything good out of these.  The Next in Line cards would look nice signed, though.

Edge:  Slight edge to Box 2, not that these really go for anything.

Edge:  Even.  I really like the dual jersey card of the two Calder favourites and the YG Exclusive.  Not to mention my first Clear Cut.

Overall:

Edge:  Even.  Can't complain about either box as there was something I liked in each.  All of the hits seem to balance out.

Okay, maybe more like a comparison.

Earlier this year, I bought a box of Upper Deck Series 1, and I bough another last week.  Since I still have all of the pictures of my pulls, I thought I would compare the two and see which one I did better on.

Cost: $100

Configuration: 8 Cards per Pack, 24 Packs per Box

Edge: Even.  Box 1 totals $60, and Box 2 totals $53, so it's relatively close.

Edge: Box 2, because of the Young Gun, though I like the Brady Skeji.  It looks like he's about to throw the bottle at some asshole fan.

Other Inserts

Edge: Even.  The Shooting Stars apparently are hard to pull, but they're not really worth much.

Edge: Box 1.  I like the Chabot jersey and the 1/1 buyback of Trevor Linden.

Overall: Slight edge to Box 1, because of the hits.  The shape of the Cup on the Chabot card looks nicer than the white "X" on the Svechnikov.
